Private Client Opportunities – Solicitors/Paralegals

 We are actively on the lookout for individuals with Private Client experience to join our long established team. It is essential that you have experience in managing your own Private Client case load and will suit someone who enjoys working as part of a busy team with a wide variety of clients and a broad and diverse workload. You should be confident, organised, have strong communication skills and be able to work independently on own initiative. You will also be expected to demonstrate strong IT and interpersonal skills as well as an ability to confidently manage own workload.

We will have multiple roles and will consider applications from Qualified Solicitors of any PQE and Paralegals who have Private Client experience. Your main tasks will involve dealing with a wide range of Private Client work including; administration of Estates and Trusts, drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney and tax planning.

Residential Conveyancing Qualified Solicitor or Experienced Paralegal 

We have an opportunity in our Residential Conveyancing Department for a qualified solicitor or experienced paralegal dealing with a mix of residential conveyancing transactions.

The successful candidate will have an ability to communicate well with clients, will have good organisational skills,  the ability confidently to manage their own case load and have good IT skills.

Trust and Executry Accounts and Personal Taxation Manager

Opportunities have arisen to join Mitchells Roberton, an established City Centre firm based in George Square with a modern and pleasant working environment, to assist with the preparation of continuing and charitable trust accounts, some executry accounts and preparation of personal income and capital gains tax returns.   The opportunities have arisen due to impending retirements, however there will be an opportunity for an overlap with existing team members allowing controlled handover of the caseload.

The successful candidate(s) will have an ability to communicate well with clients, have good IT and organisational skills and the ability to confidently manage their own case load. Experience in preparing complex accounts and tax returns respectively is essential.

We are seeking candidates looking for full time roles due to volume of work, however, we would welcome applications from all candidates and may be able to accommodate part-time and flexible working.

 

Administration Opportunities Available

We are recruiting for staff in our administration team. There are multiple opportunities in general administration, reception, and database management. We are looking for reliable hardworking candidates with high attention to detail. Training will be provided however previous experience working in the legal sector is highly desirable.
