As Covid-19 (Coronavirus) spreads, we are planning what to do to minimise any potential disruption and continue to provide clients with the right level of service. As you would expect, our priority is to protect the welfare of all colleagues, clients and third parties we deal with.
We have reviewed our business continuity plans in light of the Covid-19 pandemic and are putting measures in place to facilitate that service:
- Our office will be closed to the public until further notice. Our main telephone number (0141 552 3422) is being managed remotely by our staff. When calling, you will be transferred to the appropriate person or they will be given a message to call you back. Please note that direct dial numbers for many of our staff can be found on the People page of our website at this link.
- Face-to-face meetings will not be possible but we can arrange meetings by telephone call, conference call or video conference where all parties have access to appropriate technology. The person dealing with your case will provide further advice as appropriate.
- We are encouraging clients and third parties to communicate and send and receive all documents by email where possible.
- We have issued clear guidance that our staff should not come into work. We have arranged for as many staff as possible to work from home. There may be technical and logistical issues for us to overcome in the days ahead but we will work through these.
We will of course continue to monitor advice from the Scottish and UK Governments and are positioning our services to respond as and when that advice evolves. Notice of any material changes or limitations to our expected service will be posted here.
Please bookmark and revisit this page for any further updates.
All of us at Mitchells Roberton are grateful for your understanding and continued support.
