Guardianship Solicitor/Paralegal

We are looking to recruit a fee earner into our busy and expanding Private Client Department within our long established Glasgow city centre based practice. The role is full time and open to both solicitors and experienced paralegals who will be working principally within our Guardianship team.

The role will suit individuals who enjoy working as part of a busy team and have a genuine interest in incapacity law and assisting vulnerable adults. You will have experience in dealing with Private Client work and your main role will include assisting in Adults with Incapacity cases covering both the appointment of Welfare and Financial Guardianship orders and the general administration of the Financial Guardianship thereafter.  Your main tasks will include the general day to day administration of the Adults’ affairs, liaising with vulnerable adults and their families, drafting forms, inventories, management plans and annual accounts.

The successful individual should be confident, organised, have strong communication skills and be able to work independently on their own initiative. They will also be expected to demonstrate strong IT and interpersonal skills as well as an ability to confidently manage their own workload.

Starting salary will depend upon experience.
